2022 Tablas Creek Patelin de Tablas Blanc, Paso Robles, California
Blending is something that Americans have had a hard time accepting in recent years. Commonly thought of as inferior to single varietal wines, white and red blends have taken an undue backseat. Not anymore. Try this wine and you'll see. Blending allows for nuanced and complex wines that not many single varietal wines can match.
Tablas Creek Vineyard is the world's first regenerative organic certified wine estate. They craft wine as naturally as nature allows. 4080 Cases produced.
Tasting Notes "A nose equally balanced between Grenache Blanc's mineral and citrus and Viognier's stone fruit and white flowers, with additional notes of petrichor and peppery spice. On the palate, luscious flavors of stone fruit and lemon custard lifted by persistent chalky minerality and vibrant acids. The long finish brings back notes of white grapefruit, jasmine, and a briny sea spray minerality." - Tablas Creek
